During a difficult time for performing musicians, it has been a great pleasure to be able to make four videos with pianist, John Lenehan for Absolute Classics. I’m delighted to announce that the 3rd video is now online and it contains some of my all-time favourite pieces: Beethoven‘s witty variations on La ci Darem La Mano, Schumann‘s deeply poetic Romances, Paul Reade‘s popular Prelude and Summer from the Victorian Kitchen Garden and the rhythmically exciting Furioso by Malcolm Arnold.
